Carolyn’s Answer

I became a massage therapist when my children were young, I was looking for something that I could set my own hours based on my families needs. It was a perfect fit for me and here I am 26 years later, still loving my job. I love people, I am a people pleaser, I am very social and it meets my needs for all of that. I own a clinic and have 8 therapists working for me.

I personally have received therapy in this manner and when speaking with the therapists they like the fact that they have a unique gift that will always be in demand in the US. So job security, intrinsic motivation, selfless attitudes are a few characteristics one can have to become a massage therapist. I've attached a few resources below for you to review.
