What are good methods to train yourself for long massage sessions??
I'm currently going to school for Massage Therapy. I love the idea of healing the body and providing therapeutic relief for others, but I'm not sure if I currently have the attention span to perform 60 - 90 minute sessions, which are the standard for a booking. As of now, I can only last about 15 - 20 minutes (terrible I know). Of course, I want to be able to strengthen this, so are there any personal methods or mental exercises that I can do to help?
How do I transition into a career in facial rejuvenation/ buccal/massage?
I have been licensed for five years now working in the massage therapy field, I've recently found what I want to specialize in. I want to do aesthetic/rehabilitative work supporting clients with facial tension from strokes, Bell's Palsy ,and also as a way of beauty to aid the skin and face. I'm unsure how to transition to this niche. I cant afford expensive CEU training at the moment. I know there could be some career offerings that offer paid training I'm just unaware of them. I perform these massages on myself currently and even offer techniques to current clients. However I'm sure when approaching facilities that specialize in this niche Ill need actual training perhaps. Any advice on how I can transition into my new field would be very helpful!
What to do if I am finishing an associates degree in Marketing but want to later obtain bachelors in Psychology??
I have a lot going on . I am 33. I am a massage therapist. I have quite a bit of student loan debt. I have quite a bit of aspirations. I am currently finishing my associates in marketing management. What is some advice on navigating towards a bachelor degree in psychology? I've found my passion later in life. Working with planned parenthood is what I believe my goal to be. I am very passionate about the increase of children growing in dysfunctional environments due to unready parents. How can I fulfill this passion? A degree is desired but maybe there are other routes.

Does studying physiology in a community college prepare me for a Massage Therapist license?
I don't have many colleges near me that focus on massage therapy. I have found 4 schools so far and I'm not sure if studying physiology at a 4 year college will prepare me enough for the license's test. #massage-therapist #college #therapeutic- #college-advice massage
