I feel like it depends on what kind of special education teacher you plan to be! There is self contained and special education resource teachers. A self contained teacher has their class of students who receive services and they are able to stay in that class all day, and sometimes students can push into their general education class! A resource teacher will pull students from the class to work on specific goals. Or the teacher will push in and help the student in their classroom!
