Lee’s Answer

Hi Aowynn,

I have learned a couple of techniques for remembering peoples names that may be helpful.

It is called association. Take your name for example I would associate your name with something that means something to me personally.

To remember your name I would say to myself in my head "first letter of the alphabet A is a winner"

You can start with names and move on to bigger things later.

Hope this helps.

Krishna Chaitanya’s Answer

You remember stuff that you pay attention to. I had this exact question in my mind when I was in my high school. I realized that my inability to pay attention was the reason for not remembering a lot of stuff.
I fixed this issue by making conscious effort to listen to the conversations carefully, creating a brain map to store the information and retreiving it when needed.
It took some time and effort to practice this approach.
