I would only add to the already great answer provided that whatever skills/talents that you have also try and make those relatable to similar areas within the job description...hope this helps!

Hi Christian, so glad you are joining the field of PT. What struck me here first was that you should proof-read what you submit (applying FOR the job). However, knowing a little bit about the requirements of the job - really study the job description, as well as knowing that it is a good fit for you, is super important. Then be sure to promote the skill set that you have that matches the job description. Organizational skills, leadership, excellent documentation skills etc. These are the things that I looked for while managing the department at the Hospital where I worked.
