Salary for an Anestheseologist

What is the average annual salary for an anesthesiologist? There are a lot different results I have found but I am unable to find a sure answer. #medical #salary

Hi Gus! To add, you can also pursue becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, which is an advanced practice registered nurse who administers anesthesia and other medications. They also monitor patients who are receiving and later recovering from anesthesia. My stepmother is a Nurse Anesthetist and received her Master's degree in this field, and it doesn't require a PHD. The salary range for a CRNA ranges from $150K-200K/year.

It depends on your county and state. For instance where I live in Virginia the annual salary for full time is around $230,000. Nice!
