Hi Serinity,
Unfortunately I can't quite answer your question other then saying, yes I believe so. I wanted to reach out however and state that this is an awesome to ask your local police station. They would love to hear from the neighborhood youth and see your interest, you might even be able to schedule a ride along with an officer where you get to be with them for the day and see if that is something you will truly enjoy.
