How can I and what I need to make my own game or a tv show animation

I can be creative about some of my stories and the advice is I actually want them to become real. Also want some help to make them real so, I want to make my own animation show and be a game designer for a company or myself

Thank you comment icon If you're interested in pursuing a career in Games, learning programming and game engines like Unreal/Unity is a great start. As for Animation, you should watch some tutorials on the fundamentals of Animation and learn some of the softwares typically used like Maya/Blender. Akhilesh

Hi Jaydien,

Creating games or animations is a great career for a creative person who also likes computers. You should know that games and animations are two different careers. Creating games requires more computer programming knowledge, and you will need to learn a programming language to be successful. Animation usually requires little or no programming, but uses software to create the animations. I would probably learn animation first if I were you, because some of the skills you learn there are needed to create games also. Here are some ways to get started in both of these careers:

Animation - Download and take a look at Pencil2D, a free animation tool for you to get started learning. It is used to make cartoons that move. When you have learned the basics, take a look at Blender, another free animation software tool that is more powerful than Pencil2d, but also more difficult to learn. Both of these tools have a huge number of tutorial videos on YouTube

Games - Just like animation, there are a bunch of free tools that you can download to learn game programming. My favorite is Godot. It can produce really powerful games with almost no programming and the tutorials on YouTube are great for this tool. There are more powerful game programming engines like Unity, but they would not be a good place to start as they are really complicated to master.
