I'm not a graphic designer officially but i know many designers. It's a lot of fun because you get to use your creatively on a daily basis and you are helping others with their projects and businesses. It's also amazing for social media marketing! All those cool professional posts you see on social media? There is a graphic designer behind that! The only thing that can be stressful is with picky clients or tough deadlines.

A good amount of my teammates are graphic designers, and they tend to enjoy the creative challenge of conveying complex messages through visuals. I say it's a fun role if you're a fan of visual work as well as communication. Like Melissa said, picky customers and tough deadlines can be stressful, but this is also part of the comms world as a whole, so if working through feedback and hitting deadlines are also strength of yours, graphic design might be up your alley!
