What does a typical day look like for a veterinarian?

I'm a high school student that is working on a career blog project for a class. I'm trying to understand what a veterinarian's typical day looks like. #veterinarian

For a veterinarian working in general practice normally they wear many hats! Usually mornings would consist of surgeries which allows the animals time to recover so they can go home at the end of the day. Then the veterinarians would have several appointments afterwards for preventative and wellness checks. Their days could be filled with puppy/kitten checks meaning they would get their vaccinations, deworming and wellness checks as they age. Sometimes they have to address mild concerns such as an ear/eye infection or an upset stomach. Other times they provide support such as nutritional or support for the older patient.
