depending on the company you are working for and what job function you are doing at the specific job site.

I have had responsibilities that ranged from just running ground wire to equipment while working in industrial plant construction at one job. then the next location I was working at all I had to do was walk around all day and find specific electronic devices and put a multimeter on it to make sure it gave the correct voltages.

responsibility will vary but if that is what you want to do, then you have no worries!!
