Fred’s Answer

What I found most rewarding was seeing that light-bulb go on over a students head. When a student is struggling, but legitimately trying and you say just the right thing...the change is amazing. Their eyes get wide, they always say "OOOHHH!!!!" and they get excited about the topic...It's been 25 years since I taught, and remembering the times that happened STILL puts a smile on my face.

Shelby’s Answer

I think for some educators, it's knowing that you're helping mold the minds of the future. You have a hand at shaping these young humans into better human beings which I feel is extremely cool.

Reema’s Answer

I loved teaching! For me, the most rewarding parts were when I saw kids really learn something, get curious and investigate, and have fun together. I loved when kids who struggled did well and excelled or their parents shared positive news with me. The best parts of teaching is in the relationships!
