The type of equipment differs depending on what kind of position you are in. For instance, computer science or statistics majors in college need a good laptop to have a lot of programs running. If you are looking for computers, most college students tend to own an Apple Laptop or Windows. Depending on your workload, I would say look into what you want in a piece of equipment and the particular specifics of the device!
