I would say a good place to start is to consider what area of "planning" interests you. Planning could consist of being a Project Manager, Development Director, Creative Director, Game Designer, etc. There's many ways that games are planned out during their development. And there's many specializations layered underneath. If you enjoy the idea of planning from a high level perspective where you manage people, then you may enjoy project management or development director. If you enjoy a more creative side of planning, then you may like to look into being a Game Designer.
