If you are motivated to continue learning new skills then computer programming is an ideal career choice as it is always evolving and sometimes at a very rapid pace. There are so many opportunity areas for a computer programmer, most importantly you could use your skillset to improve the experience and lives of people and make a difference. From online shopping to renting a vacation home, your programming skillset can solve any problems. The critical thing to being a computer programmer would be to stay ahead of the curve by keeping yourself updated with the latest technology. One thing to understand here is coding is not only limited to IT industry, there is continuous demand for computer programmers in other sectors such as manufacturing, retail, medical, telecommunication etc., This is where the problem solving skillset will be helpful where you can help identify how the companies can effectively manage their logistics or improve their sales etc., There are so many ways you can grow your career as well, may be become a good programmer and get a high paying job or become an entrepreneur or be a mentor and guide others to be better coder, most of all you can gain financial freedom and be independent.

Main advantage of being a computer programmer is, of course, better earning, thereby having better lifestyle.

As others suggested, you can expand your knowledge on computer programming, by learning new programming languages/developing new algorithms to solve complex problems (which are yet to be solved).

There are lot of things that can be solved by the technology (using programming), which can help making world more better place to live.
And since you really enjoy programming, you will enjoy solving such problems.

That's great that you already enjoy programming. There are a lot of advantages because there is a lot of growth in this space, and many opportunities to apply your skills and learn. If you enjoy problem solving, knowing how to code, and seeing your program being used to solve a problem, or do something that couldn't be done before, is a great achievement. Also understanding the foundations is key, because once you understand the basic concepts you can pick up another language very quickly because the base concepts will always be the same.
