There are many musical instruments. A love for music is a good start but you should learn a bit about it before you decide you want to make a career of teaching it.

It could be!! If you have a passion for music and have some type of musical drive it could be a premium choice for you.

While yes I believe music teacher would be a good fit, I don't believe it's imperative that you play piano. You asked about music teacher, not piano teacher correct? Do you have any skills related to music or the ability to manipulate/play any instrument at all?? If you can teach what is in a lesson plan, then you can teach music. There are also music history classes, recording classes, music business and other areas that relate to music where you would be able to do really well.
