Explore your working options in some of the best restaurants , seek job offers.
If you have an idea of becoming a young entrepreneur then it will be a challenging risk factor. A pre introduction to this is done by Some colleges - As these colleges recommend & are designed in a way that a senior year will prepare you for your first year in college as this will only make it easier for upcoming culinary subjects.

Specifically for the culinary profession, I've known people who just worked after high school or went to culinary school. I think the best avenue is to just get as much experience as possible. If you manage to get into a great culinary school, go for it if you can afford it. Otherwise, hitting the kitchen is the best way to be a master at the craft.
