Charlie’s Answer

Go into the business world and network with people. Learn what it takes to run a company that employs people. Learn what it truly means to serve others. Then look into getting into politics. This could be at the local or state level. Not necessarily getting elected, but being a page or an assistant to someone.

Mary’s Answer

Working in the corporate sector can provide you with financial stability as you gear up for your dream job. While you're immersed in the corporate environment, it's crucial to get involved with your local government and offer your services as a volunteer whenever you can. This will give you a firsthand understanding of what it means to be a public servant, an experience that local government involvement can uniquely provide.
