https://www.talenttransformation.com/post/career-quiz?msclkid=461f9c5245a91cc4d081ff63b3b570a3 This is an example of a quiz that you can take to help you choose a career path. I took it and honestly it led to a dead end as far as a decision (think you have to pay or something) BUT the process and the questions may help you think about what you are interested in. I remember taking a test of sorts with various questions when I entered college. It gave me some parameters to work with.

Hope these ideas help.

Kim’s Answer

Not knowing what you would like to do in a future career is normal. I suggest starting with what you know you don't want to do. It is just as important to know things you have zero interest in. For example: if you know you highly dislike math, that is fine. Start a list of careers that center heavily on math like accounting and add that to your DISLIKE list. You will find the more you add to this list, the easier it is to identify the things you enjoy.

Kim recommends the following next steps:

Create a list of things you know you dislike doing and the related careers
Start identifying the things you really enjoy doing
Create a narrowed down list of careers related to the things you enjoy doing and research what kind of education/training you would need
