What are the certifications i need to be a welder?

Depending on the country or the board available in the country they always lay out the certification depending on the job market requierments.

I also recommend you go to you you local Employment and Workforce office. They may be able to assist you locating a training provider and also possibly paying for it.

Hello,
I would recommend you Google search to see if there is a local welder's union in your area. Unions for special skills like welding are great places to find out the best path into an industry, be paired up with a master in that field for apprenticeship opportunities, and later, for job placement.
United Steelworkers Union, Ironworks Local Unions, and Sheetmetal Workers Union are some great places to start.
