Hello Abdullah: Please know I served on Capitol Hill staff for three Women Members of the U.S. House of Representatives at three different times plus on multiple political campaigns. Know that if you want to be the President of the United States of America, you do not have to take a traditional path anymore. You just have to have the age, citizenship plus residency requirement. You may want to win a major political party nomination and then be the first candidate to 270 electoral college votes when you run. Learn political campaigning and fundraising. As for elected office, know that many U.S. Members of Congress come from other professions besides law and political science. Take this Myers Briggs test. There are no right or wrong answers but it helps identify what occupations may suit you. Take a look: https://www.truity.com/test/type-finder-personality-test-new
Also learn about how the U.S. Congress works, as President you will need good relations with U.S. Members of Congress. When you get elected, it is best that the majority of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate passes your budget, approved your appointments and supports your appropriations. Learn what the U.S Congress (meaning both U.S. House and U.S. Senate) considers. Check out: https://crsreports.congress.gov/. By the way, you can use Congressional Research Service Reports as sources for your studies. Finally learn about the voters in the early Presidential Primary and Caucus states before you run. Currently those early states are Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada. If your campaign does not do well early, you have no shot of winning. Be and do well.
Thank you comment icon Loved reading this, thanks! Abdullah
Thank you comment icon I solved the test you suggested and the results are just like that. You are a COMMANDER. And since the test offers a paid 18-page report, I couldn't learn the details. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the fee that the system demands. Abdullah
Thank you comment icon I understand Abdullah. You actually don't need the 18 pages. Did the results suggest any occupations of work that you should pursue? If not, this one will provide a career path based on your answers. Again there is no right or wrong answers. Take a look: https://my-personality-test.com/personality-type-indicator By the way, Commanders are leaders so President would seem to be in your career path. Roger Harris, MA
Thank you comment icon The Turkish Government does depend on its citizens to vote starting at the age of 18. Know that there are some similar American campaigning techniques that you can use when you run for President of Turkey. However your campaign efforts will truly need to be as Türkiye as possible. Take a look at President Erdogan here: https://www.tccb.gov.tr/en/ If governmental conditions are as they are currently, you still will need a political party nomination to really run and to win elections to be successful. Roger Harris, MA
Thank you comment icon No, the test you suggested has only personality type results and a brief information about my personality type. Suggested occupations are included in the 18-page report. Abdullah
Thank you comment icon and that's exactly my personality type: Ambitious, Productive, Assertive, Conceptual, Strong-willed Abdullah
Thank you comment icon Try this one: https://my-personality-test.com/personality-type-indicator Roger Harris, MA
Thank you comment icon My hope is that you would get guidance for possible occupations of work. Roger Harris, MA
Thank you comment icon How can I get guidance. I continue my studies alone Abdullah
Thank you comment icon I solved the test and he suggested professions such as director, designer, actor, musician, but some of the professions he offered were not suitable for me. I think the first test you suggested was better. Are there any other tests you can suggest? Abdullah

Christine’s Answer

Hi Abdullah!
This is a great question! Before entering into any political career, there are a few things you want to have a thorough understanding on first. For becoming president, which is a lofty yet honorable selection, you need to work your way up. Usually in school you will have to take a political science class and business writing to start. Also, look into what it take to be a member of Congress. This is usually where most of the US presidents have started. Having a background in legal studies or legal analysis is a good place to start as well. In order to hold any of these positions, you will need to have a BA in general education and a BA in either political science or legal studies. This is all a great foundation. Also, getting as much knowledge in government and governing is always great for anyone interested in becoming a political leader.
Hope this helps! Good luck and hope to be calling you President some day!
