The most important thing you can do is ask questions! Find something that you think you might have an interest in and contact people who have experience in that area- people are always willing to help an inquisitive mind. It may seem daunting to do so at first but if you trust in the process, the knowledge you acquire from each conversation will build into the next.

Good places to start with this can be social media platforms. I used LinkedIn to cold message people who I wanted to have a conversation with. Keep it brief, express an interest, and ask for a coffee. Don't tell them your life story in the message, that's what you can talk about when you meet or speak properly.

You can do this to find out more about a career in a particular area long before having to commit to it. This allows you to get ahead of peers for interviews, be sure in your decision to move into a given career space, and feel more confident speaking about topics that you don't fully understand/want to learn more about.

Best of luck!

Firstly, take a moment to ponder about what drives you and what you aim to achieve in life. Once you've identified these, you can then explore what you'd like to give a shot, keeping your motivations and goals in mind. Many folks find internships a great way to test the waters in various career fields, and I believe this could be beneficial for you too, especially if you have a specific career path in mind. Remember, you're free to pursue any career you fancy, but it's always a good idea to follow your heart and do something you truly love. Dive into research, consider internships, and don't be afraid to experiment with jobs - even ones you might not initially think you'd want. Above all, try to connect with a mentor or someone whose advice you trust, as they can provide valuable guidance on your journey.

Start small: internships, messages on LinkedIn. And work your way up. It's not easy and it's a long road but you will succeed if you stay motivated. Good luck and see you soon!
