Dan’s Answer

Hi,
You can try here:
- http://www.collegescholarships.org/nativeamerican.htm
- https://www.scholarships.com/financial-aid/college-scholarships/scholarships-by-type/minority-scholarships/american-indian-native-american-scholarships/

Take the time to research these and make your best effort to submit a high-quality application (i.e. have others proof-read your applications/essays, be proud of your accomplishments and highlight them, etc)

Good luck!
Thank you comment icon I came across this great page too: https://www.niea.org/scholarship-opportunities Good luck! Dan Wastchak

One scholarship app that my cousins found very helpful over the last few years was "Scholly". Check out the link below. It helps with tips on how to apply and different minority scholarships that you qualify for, as well.

Recently, I had the opportunity to learn about the American Indian College Fund and then when I saw your question, I knew exactly why the information came across my desk. To share this information with you.

The organization offers scholarships and there is a potential for the identification of mentors for students.

Visit the site (see link below) for more information.
Additionally, when you apply to colleges, there may be additionally funds for you, just ask and ask again. Each year, you never know who may decide to donate monies to colleges for scholarships.

All the very best.

Hi Chastity! You should check out the Udall Scholarship if you're interested in a career in Native Healthcare, Tribal Policy, or Environmental Science: https://udall.gov/OurPrograms/Scholarship/Scholarship.aspx. It's up to $7,000 toward your undergraduate degree and provides a lot of networking opportunities. The scholarship is open to current sophomores and juniors, so if you plan early you can potentially have two chances to apply. Good luck!
