Hello Diego,

Great question! Being friendly and compassionate towards others is going to be helpful no matter what you're doing. Relationships are built on trust and in the field of law, you want your client to trust you and your abilities. More often than not, those soft skills and interpersonal skills will take you farther than technical skills. We live in a society that runs on social interactions and relationships, and being nice makes other people feel good about themselves. In a world where we live with a lot of challenges, being nice can make a whole lot of difference. I also want to iterate that being nice doesn't mean being unprofessional or not doing your work seriously. You can be both!

Good luck!
