There are a lot of different factors to consider for living on campus at college.
Some people prefer to live closer to the center of campus to make travelling to class much easier, and some people prefer to live near to edge of campus where it's easier to travel off-campus. Some people prefer smaller, quieter dorms to help with their studying, while others prefer to be closer to a lot of people. It all depends on what you want!
The UNCC website has a page about housing that includes of a map of the dorms. This would be very helpful for figuring out which type of dorm you want.
