What science/biology jobs can I get with a BA in early education? Should I go to grad school?
I graduated with a PreK-4 Education degree last year. I've been substitute teaching, but it hasn't been very fulfilling and my mental health is suffering because of it. I'm wondering if I should go back to school and get a new BA or a masters in something I'm more passionate about. I really like science/biology/sustainability and history so I would love to study that, but still work with kids somehow. I would really appreciate ideas on potential career routes/ masters degrees that I could pursue! I like working with kids, teaching, and grading papers, but the realities of being a teacher (poor working conditions, low pay, stress) is already catching up to me. I like "customer service" type jobs where I can work with people, but I want to engage my brain a little more.

Should I attend Northeastern University or a cheaper state school?
For context, my parents are insistent that I go to Northeastern University, as they're obsessed with acceptance rates. It's 34,000 without federal loans, which is quite outrageous as we are broke. They're insistent that they are able to afford it yet even if were not, I'd rather not spend that much money on a equation when I can get an education anywhere. My parents are convinced that somehow I'll end up more successful just because I go to a school with a lower acceptance rate. We still have a mortgage and my sisters college expenses. How do I convince them that I don't want to pay 34,000 for college?

How can I overcome my fear of math and build the necessary skills for nursing Are there resources or support systems available for students like me who struggle with math?
I've been contemplating a major in nursing, but I'm grappling with the fact that math has always been a struggle for me. Throughout school, I've often felt embarrassed about my difficulties with math, to the point where seeking help became daunting. Despite my best efforts, I haven't grasped math concepts since elementary school. Considering the math requirements for nursing, I can't shake the feeling that my weakness in math might hinder my ability to become a nurse. It's disheartening when others seem to understand what's going on in the classroom, and I feel left behind. I want to address this challenge head-on and not let it define my future. How can I overcome my fear of math and build the necessary skills for nursing? Are there resources or support systems available for students like me who struggle with math? Sharing my story feels vulnerable, but I want to ensure that I can pursue my passion for nursing despite this obstacle.
