Physical Education. ...

Kinesiology and Physiology. ...

Nutrition and Fitness. ...

Exercise and Sports Medicine. ...

Educational Requirements Other Than a Major

As an assistant High School coach for 5 years, I didn't "major" in coaching. Look at almost all major college sports coaches, their majors are all over the board.

I studied leadership. I took many coaching / leadership classes.

Even now, well beyond my coaching time, i still take leadership education seriously (see also, podcasts by Jocko Willink).

Every coach though MUST know and understand basic CPR and First aid.
