Michael provided a good list to go by. That said, I have heard many good things about Florida Polytechnic University and it is right in your backyard.

It depends on what sort of Engineering field you are interested in. But, in general, these are in the mix of top schools:

  2. Purdue
  3. University of Michigan
  4. Stanford
  5. University of Illinois
  6. Carnegie Mellon
  7. Cornell
  8. University of Texas
  9. Northwestern University
  10. University of Wisconsin
