What does the daily life of a physical therapist assistant look like?

I am a sophomore in high school and would love to learn how to help citizens that get injured and help them with physical therapy so they can heal better.

A physical therapist assistant spends the day helping people move better and feel stronger through guided exercises and treatments. They work closely with patients and physical therapists, tracking progress and adjusting care as needed. It’s a hands-on, active job that’s both challenging and rewarding.
PTAs can work in a bunch of different settings, each with its own vibe:
1- Outpatient clinics are the most common steady hours, busy pace, and lots of variety.
2- Hospitals usually mean post-surgery care or helping patients get moving again after a serious injury.
3-Skilled nursing facilities focus more on older adults and long-term rehab.
4-Home health offers more independence but comes with travel since you’re going to patients’ homes.
