Hi. Actually, there are a lot of ways as you said. But it is not like a lot of them there are large amount of job related to art. A lot of options to choose, but still hard to make a choice. Firstly, just do not forget that you don't have to do something your whole life. If you will understand it's not yours , leave it.
So. If we ask question correctly we will always find an anwer. Start with smth big like: Do i see myself in architecture area? Or in digital/internet art? Or in fine arts? Maybe as an art teacher? Sculpture maybe? After you answer that let's dig deeper. For example, your answer is digital/internet - Game related? Marketing? Sites? Animation? After we dig even deeper and until you find what you want to try.

Really good question! I would consider reaching out to artists in your area or people in various careers you think sound interesting and seeing if they would be willing to let you interview them about their job. Get an idea of what they do, the challenges, benefits, and see if they have any feedback on choosing a career in that space.

I also think using AI / Google can be valuable to assess the various options that are out there and determining the long term projection of those career paths if that matters to you.

Finally, having a mentor who is in the creative space would probably be helpful, or joining a coalition of some kind to build a network in the art space.
