how do you know what classes you are eligible to take?
I'm a senior in high school whos been accepted by a few universities but most of them have been very poor with communication. Nobody else in my family has gone to college before and I'm just nervous about the whole thing.

Hi Mckenna, Congratulations on your acceptance to some universities. I believe I can relate to your concerns. I went to a small rural high school and I had no idea how unprepared I actually was for undergrad work until I set foot on campus. I cannot tell you the number of times I thought I was way out of my element and felt like packing up and going home...but that wasn't an option for me. I had nothing else. They say when you're going through hell, to keep going! That's what I did. Eventually I found my groove, switched majors to something more enjoyable for me and it was night/day. My grades improved dramatically, confidence improved and I actually began to enjoy the experience. My apologies if this has a negative tone thus far, that's not my intent. My point is to keep your eye on the prize. Education is something no one can ever, ever take from you. Three will be obstacles and challenges, but the rewards far, far outweigh anything else. I'm living proof of that. I had $25 in my pocket when I got my undergrad, and suffice it to say, I do well now. Looking back, I believe whatever challenges I faced, at that time, only served to test my mettle and strengthen my resolve. Those qualities will make you successful! Universities are big unemotional organizations, very much like corporations. Learn to navigate them and find your way despite the challenges. You can do this, just like millions ahead of you.
