It's perfectly normal not to know what you might want to do yet. As a matter of fact, a lot of us change our minds multiple times throughout our life, shifting careers as our talents and interests change.
The great thing about college is that you don't necessarily have to pick right away. You can start by getting your general education credits. Be bold and pick a variety of topics, and once you are in classes make note of the ones that really seem to interest you. They can be an indicator of what might be interesting to pursue further! Also, you'll meet a lot of people working on a lot of majors while in the general education classes. Try to chat with people. See how they are liking the classes around their major. Ask what they plan to do with their degree, what career field they see themselves going into. It may seem scary, but people love talking about themselves and you'll get lots of great information, and perhaps sometimes a new friend too!
Take a look at the general education credits available at your local community college and make a list of the ones that seem intriguing. See if you can start learning about some of those topics now to gauge your interest!
