What apprenticeships are recommended for going into Elevator/Escalator Installers and Repairers?

There's nothing on this platform that seems to have an exact answer to this, so I'd like to know if anyone has any information on this.

An apprenticeship that teaches you about basic tools and safety is very useful. There are many career paths in the industry, including construction, modification, repair, service, and inspection. I have several family members in the trade. NEIEP is the best place to start. The application period opens every two years, and there are only a few spots available. You need to apply online as soon as it opens because it fills up fast. After you apply, your application will be reviewed. You will then take a basic tools test and have an in-person interview. You will get a "ranking" that decides when you start working. Best of luck in your pursuit!
