Hi Skyler,
Before listing some informatics nursing skills, I'll share a little about this profession.
Informatics nurses interpret data and design software and other systems that help the health care system to run smoothly. For example, they may help a doctor's office create electronic versions of their patients' immunization and medication records. This makes it easier for the office staff to keep an organized list of the patients' vaccines and medicines, and quickly access the records at a later time to update them or to inform the doctor. Informatics nurses can take on small projects like this one or greater ones that affect entire hospitals.
Some skills needed to be an informatics nurse include:
*Computer/Tech/AI skills
*Organizational skills
*Decision-making skills
*Communication skills
*Leadership skills
*Data Analysis skills (able to interpret complex information and use it to make decisions)
