Good question. I was able to graduate a semester early from college and ended up saving a good amount of money. I only took classes that were required for my major and did not really take more elective classes than were required. I also took more than a full course load a few semester (6 classes instead of 5) and came in with a good amount of AP credits. I could have graduated a whole year early but I decided to study abroad for a semester instead. These are just a few of the things that I did which enabled me to finish college earlier than most people.
I hope this helps and I wish you the best of luck!!
Similar to what Austin has mentioned above there are a few ways in which you can finish school faster than other people. One thing I saw when I was in school was people would not take summers off instead they would continue on with their education. I have also found that universities are offering accelerated programs that allow you to finish in 3 years compared to 4 simply through taking more courses per semester.
I would recommend trying to take on more courses or skip the summer breaks if you wish to finish early however if you find it to demanding just relax and do what you can and gain the most out of your university experience!
Hope this helps,
