Kazi’s Answer

You can start taking helpful courses like biology, chemistry, math, anatomy, physiology, and technology to prepare for future classes.
After 2 years of associates or bachelor's, 4 years.
Volunteering/shadowing for exposure to healthcare in a clinic or hospital.
Look for medical CPR.
Become certified RDCS/RCS. Look for CAAHEP-accredited cardiovascular sonography programs.
If you love healthcare, technology, and anatomy, you are a good fit for this cardiovascular sonographer/echocardiographer.

Have a wonderful life ahead.

Maria’s Answer

I worked with sonographers that went to a 4 year college and got their bachelor's in Sonography. And I also worked with others who found 2 year associate's programs in specialized areas, such as cardiac echo. With your bachelor's you will have more job opportunities and training in all areas. But if you know you want to focus on a specific area, like the heart, then seek out a community college program.
