Definitely fill out the FASFA. I was able to attend a community college virtually for free and a good portion of my four-year education was covered by grants and work study. If you get approved for work study, there are often jobs on the campus that you will be eligible for.
I found that catering companies offered temporary work that was decently paid. I worked for a few and then started my own company to help pay my way through college. It wasn’t always easy, but it definitely was worth it in the end.
