Hello, Alyssa !

Evergreen College and Ohlone College in Fremont have Badminton teams, but they are student run and not NCAA-sanctioned. They are informal.

Although becoming a professional badminton player is possible, it is exceptionally difficult and usually requires early training. Professional players practice 8 hours a day, yes, 8. If it's that you want to go pro, that is usually done at age 18 or 19 so you may have to consider delaying attending college if you want to go pro. You need to speak with your current badminton managers about your plans.

If you are seeking elite training, contact CAN-AM Elite Badminton in San Jose, which offers coaches with international experience. and give advanced training for aspiring professionals. Also remember that later on you can go into coaching or sports management.

I hope this helps and I wish you all the best !
