I think this will really help you with recruiting. Your grades show how well you'll do in school, so this lets recruiters see that you're passionate about volleyball and also work hard in class.

Having a high GPA helps, but it is not the most important factor. For me, having a high GPA during the recruiting process made it easier for programs to consider me (if your grades are good enough to potentially get into the school on your own, the coach doesn't have to advocate that hard for you to be admitted).

In my case, it also meant the coaches could advocate for me to get better academic scholarships and benefits in addition to what they were able to offer me from an athletics perspective. This may not be possible at every school, but it played a role for me.

And finally, a high GPA also speaks to your work ethic and discipline, which are always skills coaches are interested in.
