How can I best equip myself to handle the adjustment of moving to a large university in the city coming from a small island in the Caribbean?

Great question! The best step you can take is to join as many student activity groups as you feel comfortable with, like academic clubs or intramural sports. Getting involved will help you make lots of connections and friends. Remember to try new things and explore interests you might not have considered before.
