what could i do for college and be ready for it.

Hi Alonso. I have a few questions? Do you know what you want to study? If not, base this on your interests and think about what environment you DO NOT want to work in. Another question, have you completed the FAFSA?
The FAFSA opens up on October 1st and it is a free online application you fill out to determine what federal financial aid you qualify for. This includes federal scholarships and grants, including the Pell Grant. Also, the FAFSA is a great way to be introduced to state scholarships, letting you know if yoh qualify for state scholarships as well. You can fill out the FAFSA at any time but if you are in your final semester of high school, summer break, or about to begin college, you should go ahead and fill out the FAFSA.

Additionally, I think you should prepare for college coursework expectations. Even though Composition will likely be required, be sure to prepare for college writing expectations. Right now, utilize Grammarly and ProWriting Aid or other online software to help you catch mistakes or capitalization errors in your writing, not automatic AI but assistance. Do not allow AI to be a crutch. Grammarly and ProWritinf Aid, free versions, can serve as a great writing editing tool.
Additionally, begin looking into online and on-site internships related to what you want to study or youre desired job or career path. This will help you gain professional experience to begin building your resume/CV. Also, try to search for some entry-level jobs to save for college fees, even if you qualify for scholarships or grants be prepared for other fees not covered by financial aid at some institutions; this could include parking, books, website codes for classes, and other expenses. If you can make an appointment, in-person or online with a financial aid official and your advisor at an institution, once you learn who your advisor will be for the academic year or duration of the program.
