- I start with a morning meeting with the development team to review what they’ve accomplished and plan for the day. This keeps us all aligned and helps me identify where I can support any challenges they face.
- I review and test the application as the team makes updates. This ensures we stay true to the original vision.
- I meet with the client to update them on the project's progress.
- I assist the team with any immediate requests for information, help, or clarification on major tasks.

As a manager, my main focus is to make sure the technical team has everything they need from the business side, such as requirements and clear processes. I also ensure that everyone is working towards the same goals efficiently and on schedule.

As a first-year Computer Science student, I would focus on four areas:

1. Build a Strong Technical Foundation

Learn the fundamentals well:

Computer networks
Operating systems
Databases
Cloud computing
Cybersecurity
IT infrastructure

An IT Manager doesn't need to know everything, but they need enough knowledge to make informed decisions and guide teams.
