My advice: Success is 20% natural talent and 80% disciplined preparation. To become a professional football player, you need to transition from viewing the game as a hobby to treating it as a career. Maintain positive attitude even when things are not going your way, While having the best gear is great, remember that your body is your most important tool. Focus on your recovery, your nutrition, and your sleep as much as you focus on your gear. A professional is someone who prepares perfectly, regardless of the level they are playing at.

Keep training hard, keep your gear organized, and you’ll start to see the difference on the field!

I see another anwer where already give you advice about the boots, I also recomend you the Soft Ground, these are for wet, muddy conditions, rotate between specific boots for your surface to prevent injury, use grip socks for stability, and make sock tape and pre-cuts part of your consistent pre-match routine.

I'd suggest having 2 pairs of boots, depending on the court surface (TF for natural grass, and TF or MG for synthetic or both type of surfaces). This is not necessarily needed, but depending on your position you may check professional athletes to find out what brands/models they use.
Grip socks are nice but not needed.
I like pre-cuts in socks in order to use grip ones, but don't use tape on them, there are available other accessories that make it easier.
However, none of that will help if you don't have discipline and talent. Practice shooting and passing with both feet, ball control, technique, strength, etc. If you want to go pro, focus on that, it's more important.

Hi Nathan,

I'm not an athlete, so I don't have any gear insights. To become Pro, however, probably entails lots of practice. Yes? Gear can only get you so far; the rest is up to you :-)
