How long after being accepted to a college do I have to confirm or decline my attendance?

I would like to know when I have to make my choice about which college I will attend. #decisions

After being accepted to a college, the school will send you your acceptance letter in the mail. In the letter, they will congratulate you, and tell you the steps to take. Usually it will tell you an amount you need to put that is nonrefundable by a certain that to accept their offer or not.
