John’s Answer

Atos and CapGemini are two French IT companies with large US presence. If you can demonstrate good data AI/ML Hands-on technical skills, there should be plenty of opportunities. Getting a work visa is more likely a challenge under the current administration in U.S. unless you are US CITIZEN already,, thus looking for an opportunity through a French company may be an easier on-ramp.

Hello Deepak, I would suggest you start with building your resume, if you have projects that can demonstrated your data science capability, it will be good to get prepared to present. The next step is to build your linked profile and start connecting with people who has data science background (all levels), as well as recruiters. The need for data science analyst are high are likely you will find an internship in America soon.

You may also want to consider intentionally building a community via conferences and/or meet up groups that have an international presence (like Women in Data Science or the Grace Hopper Conference). Additionally, what are U.S. based companies with offices in France? You could try to get a position in the French office, and eventually transition to a role in the U.S.

Another good international community is Hacks/Hackers: https://www.hackshackers.com/
