Omar’s Answer

Hi Shatir,

In order to be an athletic trainer, it is typically required to have a four-year undergraduate degree or a Master's degree, as well as certification from the Athletic Trainers Association. It is often a competitive field, but I know many individuals that have successfully gone to find careers as an athletic trainer throughout the US. Many schools offer these types of programs, and a list of schools that offer degrees in this discipline can be found at this link: https://caate.net/search-for-accredited-program/

Omar recommends the following next steps:

GABRIELA’s Answer

The more you expand your knowledge the more competitive you become. My trainer knows about nutrition / physical therapy and mobility.
