What is it like to work as a nurse in the emergency room?

I am really interested in science and working with people. I also like working in situations where I can be hands on. Im not sure if the ER is too stressful. #nurse

The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment. You have to deal with many different types of situations, and it can be very chaotic. If you can find a hospital near you and shadow a ED nurse, it will give you a sense of the pace of being in the ER. You may find the pace stressful or you may find it exciting!
