Great questions to ask if you are looking for a career in this field and it meets your goals. There are two Major Hubs for people working in Biotechnology / LifeScience Careers which are the New England states i.e. Boston, MA along with Northern California i.e. San Francisco. You may see more and more that these companies are looking at " remote opportunities" based on the type of role it is they are hiring for i.e. Sales and/or Engineering.

Victor’s Answer

Biotechnology workers work all over the world and in many roles. We work in the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, and medicine and healthcare. Companies and universities employing biotech workers can range from a few people to a company with 10,000 people or more. We work as scientists, bioengineers, statisticians and project managers. The exciting part of the work is that we are doing science to develop new therapies that help patients improve their lives.

If you want more information about how to work in biotechnology, I would be glad to help.
