Hi Brennan! I think it’s great that you are interested in physical therapy. The great part about the working world , is that you can practice with all different types of population. Whether that be adults, youth, in a hospital setting , athletic setting and other areas. As a school counselor one thing I like to instill in my students is autonomy or a sense of independence. With that being said researching more information about he field could be helpful. For optional steps I included O*Net a website that give details about occupation as well as job out look an salary in your state. Take some time to play with this website and get some ideas about salary and the need for your position in the future .

Rebekah’s Answer

Salaries can start as low as 40K and go up to about 80K depending on your degree (bachelor or masters). There also are jobs that pay higher it all depends on your client population. Keep in mind you can work within a rehab facility, in a private owned clinic, a hospital etc. Another factor you have to consider is which state you work in. Some states pay less for example but you can do more because everything is cheaper.
