Digital technology is a base two process. Digitized information is recorded in binary code of combinations of the digits 0 and 1, also called bits, which represent words and images. Digital technology enables immense amounts of information to be compressed on small storage devices that can be easily preserved and transported. Digitization also quickens data transmission speeds. Digital technology has transformed how people communicate, learn, and work.
Google maps is a classic example of digital technology
The smart phones we use today is an example of Digital technology since we can use our mobile phones preparing e-notes.You can use your Smartphone to prepare you notes. You can read them when you wish. Additionally, you can update them (unlike conventional notes that are tough to manage if they are required to be updated regularly ).
Through Digital Technology it has become easier to share information & data. Even one could get done projects through freelancing. Freelancing has become possible only due to digital technologies development.
-You can work from home
-You can use GPS
-You can make payments online
-You can self-learn from online resources.
Other examples of Digital Technology are :
Online banking, Radio Taxi Services like Ola and Uber .

Digital technology touches us in so many ways and bring different kinds of aspects to us seamlessly. Entertainment, music/video, news, knowledge articles etc. are just some of the areas that gets available to you without too much of hassel. If i have to share some my my personal experiences on payments, it enables people who are less technical or doesn't even get exposed to technology, can perform activities on payments without having to stand in long queue outside of banks and follow lengthy banking processes. People can use it for navigating, order food, controlling their home appliances etc. These activities sound sophisticated by over the period these have been simplified by the technology industry leaders and innovators to be consumed by anyone in the world. Innovation in digital technology has been simplified so much that no-one in Kenya use cash and only depend on digital money transferring applications only. There are loads of such examples where simplified technologies are affecting and helping many lives in our world already. As we move towards more advancement in technology it will become more and more sophisticated as well as simple at the same time :)

Technology is in many ways like its own form of entertainment. However, for people with disabilities, technology can be so much more than just entertainment. It can change their lives. It can help them learn and enable them to do things they wouldn't otherwise be able to do.
